Your Score: Busy Body- ENFJ

60% Extraversion, 60% Intuition, 33% Thinking, 60% Judging

You manipulative busybody! You're what some might call the "backseat driver" of life. You know, the one who knows exactly what everyone else is doing wrong and how they should go about fixing it. You're always trying to change everyone else.

The strange thing is, you can generally get whoever you want, to do whatever you want. What's that? You want me to stop insulting you...well, alright...but only because you asked so nic...WAIT A MINUTE!

Stop sticking your cumbersome nose where it aint't wanted. You're like an oversized sniffer dog, trained to sniff out everyone else's problems, yet oblivious to your own.

For one you worry excessively. The fact that you're also incredibly sensitive to criticism probably has you on the verge of tears right now. Get a grip.

You have powers of manipulation unlike any other. You know all the gossip and you know how to ultimately use it as blackmailing material.

You could potentially be the ultimate evil villain... if not for the fact you choose to use all of your powers for good, rather than evil. How honourable. How admirable and praiseworthy. How pathetic. While you're helping others out and pushing them into the limelight, you're left in the background to inhale the dirty smoke of their success. Nice one.

Last weekend started all the wedding stuff for this month! I hosted Kat and Nate's bridal shower. It was so much fun! I started by furiously cleaning my house, hehe. Going shopping with my mom, and then later on by myself for the thing I had forgotten.

This whole week I was so worried that it would rain! The morning of I was chanting "please don't rain, please don't rain" over and over, hehe. Kris came over and helped me prepare for everyone!

It rained a bit at exactly one, but then it stopped. The weather was awesome! Everyone had a good time, there was lots of food, and everyone enjoyed the newly wed game Kris and I made! Nate was nice enough to handle the grilling stuff. And Kat and Nate got a lot of nice things.

Then pretty much everyone left, except for Kat, Nate, Kris, Elita, and Nate's grandma. She's a sweet lady, lol. We played Wedding Bingo and I won one of our Caribou Cards. Then Nate took his grandma home, and we all hung out for a bit. It was such a nice time!

I can't wait for this weekend. It's Kat's bachelorette party!

This week Kris and I are getting together to plot for next month. Hehehehe. Mwa!

Your Result: The Midland

"You have a Midland accent" is just another way of saying "you don't have an accent." You probably are from the Midland (Pennsylvania, southern Ohio, southern Indiana, southern Illinois, and Missouri) but then for all we know you could be from Florida or Charleston or one of those big southern cities like Atlanta or Dallas. You have a good voice for TV and radio.

Does sitting by a nice cozy fire, with a cup of hot tea/chocolate, and a book you can read for hours even when your eyes grow red and dry and you look sort of scary sitting there with your insomniac appearance? Then you fit this category perfectly! You love the power of the written word and it's eloquence; and you may like to read/write poetry or novels. A Nice Compliment

Posted on 2007.05.03 at 15:13
So today I was doing my skills test for my music class (playing the recorder and singing for the teacher.) and my teacher gave me a really nice compliment. On Tuesday I had played my violin for the class as a part of the talent show. I haven't played a lot since I've graduated, and only played Amazing Grace (easiest song to make sound really nice) for them. But she told me that I had a really nice tone, and should consider picking it back up by taking lessons through the school. I told her that my violin wasn't a very nice one, but she assured me that that didn't really matter. I dunno. I might consider taking it back up again, because I really do enjoy playing it. I just thought it was a nice compliment that I wanted to share with y'all, lol.

This weekend was so fun! We had my dad's 50th birthday party. He was SO surprised. Like, 6 times. First when he showed up to the casino and his family that live around us were there, plus a couple guys from work. Then the Indiana family showed up. Then our friends from Ohio. He was shocked every time!

Then Kim, Matt, and I left the casino (I didn't win anything :( But I didn't lose much either! Mostly my parents' twenty bucks, lol.) We went to Pepe's and started decorating. Benny and the other waiters put the tables together to form one huge table. My boss Catherine brought TONS of balloons from Hallmark (I only paid for a few bunches). She also brought confetti for the tables.

About 8:30 Dad came, thinking that only a few people were meeting for a margarita. How surprised he was! (You'd think by then nothing could have surprised him!) The best was the look on his face when he saw the few people that he hadn't seen for nearly 20 years (an old boss and coworker). He was like "son of a!" Too surprised to even finish a sentence!

My aunt had made him a "Mayor Tom" sash (it's an inside joke that he's the mayor of Pepe's since we go there so much and he knows all the regulars). The next few hours were just catching up with friends and family. My "uncle" (my parents' best friend) gave a speech, and so did my neighbor. Both of those were very funny. My sister gave a speech, and then I did too. Mine made him cry! lol. And of course, my mom said something as well.

We left the restaurant about midnight, after everyone had left and we helped them clean up a bit (we're so close with them that that's nothing new, lol). By the time we got home, he had been surprised so man times that he was like "Okay guys...who is going to be here?!?" LOL!

It was just truly awesome.

Current Music: Me and My Gang- Rascal Flatts
So tonight I saw Ryan. It went really well. I drove out to Rockford to see him, because I'm tired of Applebees (only decent restaurant that isn't way expensive). We drove around for awhile trying to decide on a place to eat. Meanwhile I got to catch up with him on stuff and chit chat and stuff. Yes, I know we had things to talk about, but we weren't ready for that.

We finally decided on Outback Steakhouse for dinner. We both ordered a drink. We just talked about random stuff. I mentioned that I had gone to Claire's earlier in the day and almost got my cartilage pierced, but it was too expensive. He was like "we could go up to the mall and get it done." I'm pretty sure he was joking, but I took him up on it, lol. I let him pay for dinner. Frankly, he owed me that.

So we went up to the mall and the piercing pagoda was still open. So we picked out an earring (him trying to freak me out the entire time, lol. But that's just Ryan). Eventually he came in and held my hand while I got it done. It didn't really hurt that bad! It's sore now, but doable. I'm glad that I finally got it done.

We then went to the movie theater, and agreed to see Blades of Glory (I paid, since he paid for dinner). It was pretty good. I laughed a lot. Before that he had run across my sister's number in his phone, and decided to text her. He had gotten a new number since she had last talked to him, so she was like "who is this?" He told her "I'm with Amy right now." Kim stuck up for me and was like "yeah, I'm surprised after the shit you did last time." That was sort of an opening to talk about what happened. I was like "yeah, half the people I talked to pretty much said that I shouldn't meet you." He said "well, it was your call." I told him that I had planned on not talking to him again, and he told me "well, we both got mad. Let's just agree on that." End of discussion for now.

After the movie we drove back to his house. We started talking about what happened last time. I told him that I had deleted his number out of my phone, and blocked his SN. He told me that he knew I had blocked him, since he had another SN to check under. I told him that what he had said last time was hurtful, and far too personal. That no matter the fact he was mad, he shouldn't have said the things that he did. I wasn't even sure that he knew how hurtful those things were. He was like "well, obviously I did, because I made the effort to talk to you again. And you know that I'm not one to do that." I told him that I did know that, and that's why I agreed to start talking to him again, that it HAD meant a lot that he had contacted me first. Then I was like "I'm not going to put up with this shit anymore. I want to hang out with people that make me feel like I'm worth hanging out with. I want to be treated the way that I think I deserve. If you can't do that, I'm done." Before I left, we hugged.

So I think it was a good thing that I met up with him again.

In other news, I had a really good weekend. I worked on Saturday. We started moving our store back, so I spent the day walking back and forth with carts full of stuff. Did I mention it was 25 degrees? And I was wearing the wrong shoes? Yeah, not that much fun.

But Saturday night I got to see Kat, Kris, and Zach. We went to Colonial, our old high school hang out, and then to Funway for bowling and ski-ball. It was so much fun! We got mucho tickets, and traded them in for a huge blow-up crayon which we're going to send between all of us like the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants. Haha.

Sunday was good. My parents, Kim (my sister), Matt (my sister's boyfriend), and I all went out to brunch. It was a nice family day.

Current Music: For Me, It's You- Train
So, here is what is going on with my ex-boyfriend Ryan. About a month ago we had this huge fight where I told him that I didn't want to talk to him anymore. And I did really well with it. I deleted his number out of my phone, and blocked his screen name on AIM.

So Saturday night I get a text from an 815 area code. Ryan's area code. This is the conversation that ensued:

R: lalala
A: yes?
R: I'm a jerk, I know.
A: And your point is?
R: If you didn't enjoy my texts, you wouldn't text back ;-P I honestly miss your texts
A: I thought you weren't interested in talking to me.
R: When thinking about a new relationship [with you] I was serious. I just got frustrated when we talked, I meant nothing bad I said.
A: But you really hurt my feelings. Even if you "didn't mean it." Why would you say such hurtful things?
R: I'm a jerk. It came out. I got mad. It's hard to explain
A: So what do you want from me?
R: So then you want to end it forever?
A: I don't know. I don't want what happened last time.
R: It won't. I'll make an effort, I promise.
A: Okay
R: That sarcastic? :-(
A: It wasn't. Just wary.
R: I've just been thinking about everything, and I don't want to lose you. I'm not drunk.
A: I know you're not drunk. I'm just scared.
A: Ryan, is this going to be for real? Are you going to be an actual friend? (is that what you want?) Are you going to tell me stuff? What can I expect?
R: I want to be an actual friend. Calling, everything, and see where it takes us.
A: Alright. I can do that.

So probably against better judgement I am giving him yet another chance. I actually think this is a big step for him, because this is the first time HE'S been the one to talk to me first after a big fight. He's obviously really sorry about what he said, and is going to make an effort to be a better friend. And if he doesn't, he'll lose me for good. I'm not dealing with stupid shit anymore.
